The Upper Michigan State Girl Choir is more than just a place to sing; it is a space where individual voices are heard and celebrated. We foster an environment that values each singer's unique talents, nurturing personal growth and self-confidence.
The Upper Michigan State Girl Choir is a community choral music program dedicated to high-level arts education and performance. As a unique and independent musical entity, they work in harmony with Appleton’s Badger State Girl Choir.
Badger State music programs were founded in 2006 to provide singers from the Midwest an opportunity to sing high quality choral music in an integrated arts learning environment. In 2026, the program expanded to Michigan. The choirs perform major concerts each season, record, premiere contemporary works, and have the opportunity to travel across the globe as musical ambassadors. Thousands of young singers from across the Midwest have enjoyed participation in the program.
Why it Matters
Delta County currently lacks a dedicated youth choir. Many young singers don’t have a place to grow, collaborate, and share their gifts.
Music is essential to the development of the whole person - it nurtures discipline, confidence, creativity, and connection in a way few other activities can!
Our Other Branches
The Badger State Girl Choir, LLC is an independent organization and an officially authorized corporation in the state of Wisconsin. It was founded in 2006 to provide girls from the Fox River Valley an opportunity to sing high quality choral music in an integrated arts learning environment.
The Badger State Girl Choir
The Badger State Women’s Choir is open to both alumni and music industry professionals. Members participate in two yearly intensives of challenging and diverse compositions, culminating in performances with world-renowned guest artists.
BSGC Women’s Choir
Premiering in 2026, the Oshkosh Youth Choir is open to boys and girls from elementary through high school, with a mission is to empower young singers through the transformative power of choral music.

The Green Bay Youth Choir, open to singers from elementary through high school, opened in 2026 with a mission of fostering a culture of inclusivity, creativity, and confidence across Midwest communities.
